Quick Start Guide for ACS880-04

This guide provides brief instructions for installing the ACS880-04 drive module into a 600 mm wide Rittal TS 8 cabinet.

Safety First:

• Handle the drive module carefully, it is heavy and has a high center of gravity.
• Ensure the module is securely fastened before pushing it into the cabinet.
• Always disconnect all voltage sources before installation or maintenance. Wait 5 minutes for capacitors to discharge.
• Only qualified electricians should perform installation and maintenance.

Installation Steps:

• Select appropriate power cables based on local regulations.
• Ensure adequate cooling; the drive's operating temperature range is -15 to +40 °C.
• Install the drive module into the cabinet using provided figures and instructions.
• Check insulation of input and motor cables and the motor.
• Connect power cables and install shrouds.
• Connect control cables.
• Refer to default I/O connections.
