Warranty Information
ABB may not honor battery warranty under harsh operating conditions or abuse of fittings.
- Commissioning Test: After permanent connection, allow 24 hours for battery charge. Conduct a test for at least 2 hours, and 6-monthly for at least 90 minutes. Keep records.
- Construction Site Warning: Frequent switching off/on of mains power can shorten battery life and may void warranty.
- Troubleshooting: Use the provided table to diagnose and fix common faults. Contact ABB customer service if issues persist.
- Safety: Only licensed electricians should work with 240V installations. Turn off and isolate power before installation. Do not touch energized terminals. User-serviceable part is the battery pack only.
- Nexus LX/RF: Specific installation for data cable systems and wireless communication are detailed.
Troubleshooting and error codes
