Warranty Information
ABB may not honour battery warranty if subjected to harsh operating conditions or abuse.
Testing Precautions: Allow 24 hours for battery to fully charge before commissioning discharge test. Standard requires fittings to operate in emergency mode for not less than 2 hours for commissioning test and 90 minutes for 6-monthly tests. Keep records of tests.
Construction Sites: Avoid continuously switching off mains power to emergency lights, as this shortens battery life. ABB does not recommend such practices and may not honour battery warranty under harsh operating conditions. Repeated discharge/charge cycles are considered abuse.
Troubleshooting: Use the provided table to diagnose and fix common faults. If issues persist, contact ABB customer service.
Installation: Follow step-by-step instructions for mounting bracket, cable connections, and fitting attachment. Ensure correct orientation and secure installation.
Operation: Normal AC LED will energise and remain lit. Emergency function operates when mains power fails or test button is pressed. Red LED indicates power and charging.
Troubleshooting and error codes
