AF-Contactors are fitted with an electronic coil interface, allowing a wide voltage range. Control can be via direct voltage on terminals A1 and A2 (switch S1 in position B) or via logic control signals (e.g., PLC) with switch S1 in position A. Logic control requires a steady supply voltage on A1 and A2. Minimum pulse length for opening/closing is 7 ms. The contactor's function limits are based on supply voltage: closing at 85% and opening at 55% of the lower voltage range level. For UL 508 compliance, specific enclosure sizes and Cu 75°C cables are required. After a short circuit, verify screw positions.
