Basic Operation of the ABB Ability Smart Sensor
The Smart Sensor is designed for condition monitoring of industrial equipment. It measures vibration, magnetic field, acoustic/ultrasonic signals, and machine temperature.
Activation: The sensor is activated via NFC using a smartphone. Once activated, it can be commissioned using the Smart Sensor App.
Commissioning: Download the Smart Sensor App from Google Play or iPhone App Store. Follow the detailed documentation for the commissioning process.
Measurements: The sensor provides 3-axis vibration, 3-axis magnetic field, acoustic/ultrasonic microphone, and machine true skin temperature data.
