Manual for REB670 2.1 ANSI

The REB670 is designed for selective, reliable, and fast differential protection of busbars, T-connections, and meshed corners. It is applicable for medium voltage (MV), high voltage (HV), and extra high voltage (EHV) installations at 50Hz or 60Hz. The IED can detect various types of internal faults, including phase-to-phase, phase-to-ground, and multi-phase faults in different power system grounding conditions. It also offers optional functions like circuit breaker failure protection, end fault protection, and overcurrent protection. The device is highly configurable and can adapt to different substation arrangements through software-based dynamic zone selection.
