ABB-Welcome systems offer flexible solutions for door communication, applicable in new buildings and for modernizing existing systems. The 2-wire bus technology allows easy upgrades from bell systems to video systems. Systems can be audio-only or include video. Key components include outdoor stations, indoor stations, a system controller, and optional auxiliary devices. The system controller manages communication and power distribution. Systems can be expanded to accommodate multiple apartments and entrances. Planning involves selecting appropriate indoor and outdoor stations, considering wiring methods like looping or stub lines, and adhering to cable type and signal range specifications. Auxiliary power supplies can increase the number of connectable indoor stations.
