Using the Oven

To operate the oven, turn the oven functions dial to the desired setting and the temperature selector to the desired temperature. The oven power indicator lights up when the oven is in operation, and the temperature pilot light illuminates while the oven is heating up. To turn the oven off, return both dials to the OFF position. A cooling fan automatically activates to keep the appliance surfaces cool, continuing to run after the oven is switched off until the appliance cools down.

Oven Functions Overview

  • Light: Illuminates the oven interior for cleaning.
  • Fan-assisted circulation: For baking on up to two levels, use temperatures 20-40°C lower than conventional.
  • Fan cooking: For baking on up to three levels, use temperatures 20-40°C lower than conventional.
  • Conventional: For baking and roasting on one level.
  • Bottom heat: For baking cakes with crispy bases.
  • Defrost: For defrosting frozen foods.
  • Grill: For grilling flat foodstuffs and toasting.
  • Dual grill: For grilling larger quantities and toasting.
  • Rotitherm: For roasting, gratinating, and browning.

Additional Functions

  • Countdown: A timer function that does not affect oven operation.
  • Meat probe: Measures the core temperature of food, signaling when the set temperature is reached.

Inserting Accessories

Ensure insertable components have the indentation at the back for safety. Baking trays and roasting pans slide between guide bars. Oven shelves insert with feet pointing downwards. The oven shelf and roasting pan can be used together.

Grease Filter

Use the grease filter when roasting to protect the heating elements from fat splashes. It is inserted and removed via a grip on the rear wall.
