First Use of the Device/Introduction

  • Select a proper place for the device such as a dry, and even non slip area where you can easily operate the device.
  • Make sure the device is vented sufficiently!
  • If still in place, remove the protection foil from the display.
  • Before you use the speakers for the first time, they must be charged for approximately 6 hours.

Power Supply

  • Insert the grid plug into a properly installed three prong socket with 230 V, 50 Hz. Connect the device with the plug connector by inserting its plug into the DC 7,5V jack of the device.
  • Make sure the grid voltage corresponds to the figures on the rating plate.

Insert/Replace Battery in Remote Control

  • Open the battery compartment on the underside of the remote.
  • Replace the cell with a battery of the same type (CR 2025). Make sure the polarity is correct.
  • Close the battery compartment.

iPod/iPhone Compatibility

  • Before connecting your iPod/iPhone, ensure that it has a compatible interface.
  • Full compatibility of the remote functions also cannot be guaranteed. Operate your iPod/iPhone as normal, while it sits in the docking station.

Music Playback from iPod/iPhone

  • Insert your iPod or iPhone into the dock.
  • Start playing music if necessary with the II button.

Play Music from the PC

  • Insert the audio transmitter into a free USB port of your Windows PC.
  • Install drivers and select "SYNIC Wireless Audio" as the standard playback device.
  • Switch on the speakers.
  • Play music files on the PC and adjust volume.

AUX IN Jack

  • Connect analogue playback device via 3.5 mm stereo jack.
  • The unit automatically switches to AUX operation.
  • Listen to music and adjust volume.

Charging the Built-in Batteries of the Speakers

  • Set the speakers onto the recessed charging areas of the base station.
  • The speaker charge indication lights with steady blue when charged.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Cause Solution
The unit cannot be operated The unit is blocked and "hangs" Pull the mains plug for approximately 5 seconds. Then connect the unit again
The power indication (base station) does not light No power supply Check if the AC adapter is connected correctly to the wall outlet and the DC 7,5V jack (12). Check the wall outlet with a different device for functionality.
No sound A 3.5 mm jack plug has been inserted into the AUX IN jack (13) Remove the jack plug from the AUX IN jack
No sound In case of iPod/iPhone playback: The iPod/iPhone is not connected correctly to the dock Check for correct connection of the iPod/iPhone to the dock
