Power Supply
Connect the mains cable to a properly installed safety socket and the AC mains connection on the back of the device.
Setting the Clock
The time can only be set when the device is in standby mode. Press and hold the II/CLOCK button for approx. 2 seconds. The hours will blink. Use the TUN-/►►ITUN+ buttons to set the hour. Press the ►II/CLOCK button again. The minutes will blink. Use the TUN-/TUN+ buttons to set the minutes. Press the II/CLOCK button again.
Turning the Device On/Off
Press the /FUNC button to turn the device on. To turn off the device, press and hold the /FUNC button for approx. 3 seconds.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Symptoms | Cause | Solution |

| CD cannot be played. | CD is not inserted or inserted incorrectly. | Ensure the disc is inserted with the label facing upwards. |
| Batteries too weak. | Insert new batteries or operate the device with the mains cable. | |
| CD jumps during playback. | Check the disc for fingerprints, dirt, or scratches. | Clean the disc with a soft cloth from the center outwards. |
| Device cannot be operated. | Device is blocked/"frozen". | Unplug the device for approx. 5 seconds. Then plug it back in. |
