Hob Operation Summary

1. Activating and Deactivating

Press and hold the power button (①) to turn the hob on or off. Control bars appear when activated.

2. Heat Setting

Use the control bar (0-9 or P) to set the desired heat level for each cooking zone. Press '0' to deactivate a zone.

3. Cookware Detection

Place cookware centrally on the selected zone. The hob automatically detects its size and shape.

4. Special Functions

  • Hob²Hood: Connects to compatible hoods for automatic fan speed control.
  • PowerBoost: Provides extra power for a limited time.
  • Bridge: Combines zones for larger cookware.
  • Pause: Sets all active zones to the lowest heat setting and locks controls.
  • Lock/Child Safety: Prevents accidental operation.
  • Timer: Set Count Down or Count Up timers.

5. Care and Cleaning

Clean the hob after each use with a moist cloth and neutral detergent. Remove spills immediately.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible cause Remedy
Cannot activate or operate the hob. Hob not connected to electrical supply or incorrectly connected. Check electrical connection.
The fuse is blown. Fuse blown. Check fuse; if it blows repeatedly, contact a qualified electrician.
Cannot select maximum heat setting for a zone. Other zones consume maximum available power. Reduce heat setting of other zones on the same phase. Refer to "Power management".
An acoustic signal sounds and the hob deactivates. Something placed on control panel. Remove object from control panel.
Hob²Hood not working. Signal blocked (e.g., by tall pot, hand). Ensure clear signal path. Use compatible cookware.
Sensors get hot. Cookware too large or too close to controls. Use smaller cookware or move cookware away from controls.
