Getting Started:

  • Remove all packaging materials.
  • Fully unwind the power cord.
  • Check that the mains voltage matches the appliance's voltage (found on the rating plate) before plugging it in.
  • Connect to a properly installed, earthed socket.
  • Slide the switch on the handle to position I to turn on the appliance. The indicator light will illuminate. The appliance will be ready for use after a few minutes.

Use:

  • Use only on dry hair.
  • Do not touch the scalp with the hot curling tongs.
  • Use only on natural hair; not suitable for artificial hairpieces or wigs.
  • Never use in combination with styling products like mousse, hairspray, or gel.
  • Recommended: Spray heat protection onto dry hair before use.
  • For tighter curls, use thinner hair strands (approx. 2 cm). For looser waves, use thicker strands (4-6 cm).
  • After curling, let hair cool completely before styling.
  • For intense curls, do not brush hair afterwards; shape with fingers.
  • For a wavy, voluminous look, gently brush curls.

How to Curl:

  1. Comb or brush hair to detangle.
  2. Take a strand of hair, hold curling tongs horizontally away from your head.
  3. Place heating rod near the hair root, wind hair from root to tip.
  4. Hold tips at the pointed end for max. 10-15 seconds.
  5. Release tips, gently pull curling tongs out.
  6. Let curl cool.
  7. Repeat steps 2-6 for more curls.

Switching Off:

  • Slide switch to "0" and unplug.

Storage:

  • Let appliance cool before storing. Place on a heat-resistant, stable surface.
  • Hang by the loop when cool.

Cleaning:

  • Always unplug before cleaning.
  • Never immerse in water.
  • Let cool completely.
  • Do not use abrasive brushes or detergents.
  • Clean casing with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Heating rod can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.
  • Let dry completely before storage or reuse.
