General Operation: The fume extractor hood is designed for both exhaust air and recirculating air modes. In exhaust air mode, it vents cooking fumes outside. In recirculating mode, it uses an active carbon filter to purify the air before returning it to the kitchen.
Controls: The push-switches, located on the right-hand side, control lighting and fan speed. Symbols indicate lighting, infinitely variable fan regulation, full power, and a specific power position for the 5708 D-m model.
Fan Operation: The fan should be switched on before cooking begins and allowed to run for about 15 minutes after cooking is completed to ensure proper ventilation.
Lighting: The working lighting can be switched on or off separately.
