Getting Started:

  1. Before first use, boil and discard water 2-3 times to remove dust/residues. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
  2. Place the base unit on a firm, flat surface and plug it in. Redundant cord can be wound at the base.
  3. Press the open lid button, fill with fresh tap water (0.5L - 1.7L).
  4. Close the lid securely. Place the kettle on the base. The LCD display will illuminate.
  5. Press Start/Cancel to boil water. Hold to enter energy saving mode.
  6. The kettle switches off automatically when boiled or removed from the base. Press Start/Cancel to stop heating before boiling.
  7. Press Preset (A) and repeat to set temperature (50-100 °C). Indicator for recommended beverage appears. Press Start/Cancel (B) to boil.
  8. Press 1-Cup Turbo for fast boiling of one cup (max 200ml) in <60 seconds. This overrides preset temperature. Minimum water level (0.5L) still applies.
  9. Press Keep Warm (A), then Start/Cancel (B) to boil. Water stays warm for 40 mins at preset temp (if <100 °C).

Cleaning and Care:

  1. Always unplug before cleaning. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Rinse kettle occasionally. Never immerse housing, plug, or cord in liquid.
  2. Clean mesh filter by lifting, rinsing under water, and reinserting. Clean base plate with a stainless steel cleaner.
  3. Decalcify every three months using kettle and decalcifier instructions. Do not boil the solution. Rinse thoroughly.
