Dishwasher Operation Summary

  1. Preparation: Ensure proper installation, water supply, and electrical connections. Prepare dishes by removing large food scraps.
  2. Loading: Arrange crockery and cutlery in the designated baskets, ensuring spray arms can rotate freely.
  3. Detergent & Rinse Aid: Fill the detergent dispenser just before use. Fill the rinse aid container as indicated by the level indicator.
  4. Programme Selection: Choose the appropriate wash programme using the push buttons. The programme indicator will show progress.
  5. Starting: Press the selected programme button. The machine will heat water and begin the cycle.
  6. During Operation: Avoid opening the door unless necessary. If adding items, pause the cycle and wait for spray arms to stop.
  7. Completion: The machine switches off automatically. Wait a few minutes before unloading, starting with the lower basket.
  8. Maintenance: Regularly check and clean filters. Top up salt for the water softener as indicated.

Troubleshooting and error codes

What to do If... Possible Causes & Solutions
1. The programme does not start - Machine not plugged in or main switch not on.
- Fuses blown.
- Door not closed properly.
- Incorrect programme selected.
2. No water or too little water. - Tap not turned on.
- Water filter in filler hose blocked (clean it).
- Insufficient water pressure.
- Drain hose lower than 30 cm from the base of the machine (secure outlet hose at correct height).
3. Water immediately runs out again from the outlet hose. - Outlet hose not at least 30 cm above the base of the appliance.
- Bend at the end of the hose is immersed in pumped-off water.
4. Dishes not clean - Incorrect programme selected.
- Insufficient or incorrect detergent used.
- Detergent not added correctly.
- Dishes stacked incorrectly.
- Spray arms obstructed.
5. Dishes not sparkling clean. - Rinse aid not recommended or insufficient quantity dispensed.
- Screw cap of salt container not fastened securely.
- Salt for water softener not added in time.
