Operating your AEG Oven:

  1. Ensure the clock is set.
  2. Press the 'On' button.
  3. Select the desired cooking function and temperature using the control panel buttons and displays.
  4. The oven will preheat. A beep indicates when the selected temperature is reached.
  5. The temperature display will flash during heating.
  6. Press the 'Off' button to stop cooking.
  7. The oven has an automatic cooling feature.
  8. The oven light turns on when the door is open or when a cooking function is selected.

Electronic Clock Functions:

  • Cooking Duration: Program cooking time, after which the oven turns off automatically.
  • End of Cooking: Program the time for cooking to stop.
  • Combined Duration & End of Cooking: Program both cooking time and stop time. The oven switches on automatically at the set time.
  • Minute Minder: Set a timer for an audible alarm.

Child Lock: Press and buttons simultaneously to lock/unlock the oven.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
The oven does not work Check the electrical connection, fuses, and ensure the clock is set correctly. Verify function and temperature selector positions.
The inside light of the oven does not work Change the bulb and check its assembly.
Smoke is given off while the oven is working Normal during first use. Clean the oven periodically, reduce grease/oil, and use recommended temperatures.
Expected cooking results are not achieved Review cooking tables, ensure correct temperatures and use the oven as guided. Avoid leaving dishes in the oven for extended periods after cooking.
Steam and condensation settle on the food and in the oven cavity. Do not leave dishes in the oven for longer than 15-20 minutes after cooking.
The oven fan is noisy Check that shelves and bakeware are not vibrating against the oven back panel.
The display shows "12.00" Set the time of day.
