Warranty Information

Warranty void if damage occurs due to not following instructions; AEG PS reserves the right to cancel.

  • Normal operation: Rectifier converts AC to DC, charging batteries and supplying the inverter. Inverter transforms DC to AC for output.
  • Mains failure: Batteries supply power to the inverter. Backup time depends on battery capacity.
  • Inverter not active: Inverter is inactive due to alarms (overloads, overheating, etc.) or if the unit is not started with the keyboard. Rectifier continues charging batteries.
  • Manual bypass: Allows maintenance without interrupting power to loads.
  • Parallel operation: Two identical UPS can be paralleled for redundancy or to double load capacity. Operates on a MASTER-SLAVE principle.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Alarm 74:
N+M Configuration Load exceeds maximum permissible load by N equipment. Loss of redundancy if load > 40 kVA. Inverter overload alarm if load > 60 kVA.
Alarm 75:
Input Contactor Fault Input contactor does not close properly, failing to maintain DC bus voltage.
Alarm 76:
Parallel System Communication Error Second communication error/break detected by slave equipment after initial error, resulting in permanent block of rectifier and inverter.
Alarm 77:
Configuration Memory Error Error in configuration memory.
