Operation Summary

1. Battery Removal: Always remove the battery pack before starting any work on the machine.

2. Tool Usage:

  • Insert the appropriate SDS-plus drill bit into the tool holder.
  • For drilling, select the desired function (hammer drilling, drilling, chiseling) via the function selector.
  • For hammer drilling, ensure the depth stop is set correctly.
  • To start, press and hold the trigger switch. To stop, release the trigger switch.
  • The machine features an Anti-Vibration System (AVS) for reduced vibration.
  • Follow the images for correct operation of the different modes and settings.

3. Battery Indicator: The LEDs on the battery pack indicate the remaining charge.

4. Maintenance: Keep ventilation slots clean. If carbon brushes are worn, have them replaced by a service center. Use only AEG accessories and spare parts.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Machine does not start Battery is not inserted correctly Check battery insertion.
Battery is discharged Recharge the battery.
Battery overload protection activated Release the trigger switch and wait for the battery to cool down.
Overheating Extreme circumstances causing high current draw The tool will vibrate and switch off. Release trigger and wait for it to cool down.
