Basic Operation

Battery Pack Installation/Removal: See page 6 for instructions on inserting and removing the battery pack. Ensure the battery pack is removed before performing any work on the machine.

Accessory Installation: Follow the steps on pages 8 and 9 for installing drill bits and other accessories into the SDS-plus chuck. Lubrication of the accessory is recommended.

Auxiliary Handle: Pages 10 and 11 detail how to attach and adjust the auxiliary handle for better control.

Depth Stop: Page 12 explains how to set the depth stop for precise drilling.

Starting and Stopping: Page 13 illustrates how to start and stop the tool using the trigger, and how to select speed modes (turtle/rabbit).

Troubleshooting and error codes

Possible Cause Remedy
Battery pack is not charging. Check that the charger is properly connected to the mains and the battery pack. Check the contacts on the battery pack and charger for dirt and clean them if necessary.
Tool does not operate. Check if the battery pack is charged. Ensure the battery pack is correctly inserted. Check if the trigger is pressed.
Tool vibrates excessively. Ensure the correct accessory is used and it is properly installed. Check accessory for damage. Ensure the tool and accessories are maintained.
High current draw, tool vibrates and turns OFF. This is a battery pack protection feature. Release the trigger, then press it again to reset.
Battery pack flashes, tool turns OFF. Internal temperature of the battery pack is too high. Allow the battery pack to cool down before continuing.
