Switching the Machine On and Off:

Intermittent use: Press the On/Off switch to switch on; release to switch off.
Continuous use: Press the On/Off switch, then the locking button, then release the On/Off switch to switch on. Press the On/Off switch and release to switch off.

Always hold the machine firmly with both hands before switching on. Only switch on in a raised position.Advice for Operation:Guide the machine without applying special pressure when sanding; the machine's own weight is sufficient for good results.Dust Extraction:Use the dust bag when sanding wood. Empty the dust bag when suction performance decreases. For larger quantities of dust, an adapter can be fitted for a suction hose (accessory). Do not use dust extraction when sanding metal due to the risk of fire from sparks.Maintenance:Keep ventilation slots clear at all times. Use only AEG accessories and spare parts.
