First Use

Ensure electrical and water connections are correct. Remove all packing material from the drum. Run a cotton cycle at 90°C or 95°C with detergent to clean the machine.

Personalization

Acoustic signals: Sound at cycle end or for problems. Deactivate by pressing buttons 3 and 4 simultaneously for 6 seconds.

Child safety lock: Prevents children from operating the machine. Enable/disable by pressing buttons 4 and 5 simultaneously for 6 seconds.

Daily Use - Washing

Load the laundry: Open door, place laundry one item at a time, close firmly until a click is heard.

Detergent and softener: Pull out dispenser drawer. Add detergent to main wash compartment (and prewash/stain remover if needed). Add fabric softener to the marked compartment, not exceeding MAX.

Select programme: Turn the programme selector dial (1). The display shows duration and drying options.

Select SPIN speed, RINSE HOLD, or NIGHT CYCLE: Use button 2 to adjust spin speed or select RINSE HOLD (prevents creasing by keeping water) or NIGHT CYCLE (quieter, no final spin).

Select options: Use button 5 to scroll and button 6 to confirm options like PREWASH, STAIN, SENSITIVE, DAILY, SUPER QUICK, EXTRA RINSE.

Press START/PAUSE: Use button 7 to start or pause the programme. The red pilot light indicates operation.

Select DELAY START: Use button 8 to set a delayed start time (up to 20 hours).

Altering/Cancelling: Pause with button 7, then change options or reset by turning dial to O and selecting a new programme. Cancel by turning dial to O.

Opening door: Pause programme, wait for DOOR symbol to disappear. If not possible, switch off via dial to O, wait, then open (beware of water/temperature). Select programme again and press 7.

End of programme: Machine stops, pilot light 8 and DOOR symbol go off, flashing '0' appears. If water remains, select DRAINING or SPINNING programme. Turn dial to O to switch off. Remove laundry, close tap, leave door open.

Drying only

Load limit: 3.5 kg for cotton, 2 kg for synthetics (up to 5 kg with timed drying).

Select drying programme: Turn dial (1) to Cottons or Synthetics.

Automatic drying: Use button 3 to select dryness level (IRON DRY, CUPBOARD DRY, EXTRA DRY). Machine adapts duration.

Timed drying: Use button 4 to set duration (10-250 mins for cottons, 10-130 mins for synthetics).

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Machine does not start Power cable not plugged in. Plug in the power cable.
Fuse blown. Check the fuse and replace if necessary.
Door not closed properly. Close the door firmly.
Delayed start selected. Wait for the delayed start to expire or cancel it.
Water not entering machine Water tap not open. Open the water tap.
Inlet hose kinked or blocked. Check and straighten the inlet hose. Clean if blocked.
Water not draining Drain hose kinked or blocked. Check and straighten the drain hose. Clean if blocked.
Drain pump filter clogged. Clean the drain pump filter (see Care and Cleaning section).
Machine vibrates or is noisy Machine not level. Adjust the feet to level the machine.
Transit bolts not removed. Remove transit bolts.
Excessive foam Too much detergent used. Use less detergent. Select an additional rinse if necessary.
Door cannot be opened Programme still running or door lock engaged. Wait for the programme to finish and the DOOR symbol to disappear. If urgent, switch off via dial to O, wait, then open.
Error code displayed (e.g. E20) Specific error condition. Refer to the "What to do if..." chapter for error code explanations.
