Brief instructions

A washing cycle consists of the following steps:
  1. Open the door and load the washing.
  2. Close the door.
  3. Add detergent/conditioner.
  4. Set the appropriate washing programme:
    • Set the programme and temperature using the programme selector
    • Set programme options as required.
  5. Change the Spin Speed /select RINSE HOLD as necessary.
  6. Start the washing programme by pressing the START/PAUSE button.
After the washing programme has ended:

Important! If the washing cycle has ended with a Rinse Hold, select DRAIN or SPIN before opening the door.

  1. Open the door and remove the washing.
  2. To switch off the washing machine: turn the programme selector to OFF.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Trouble Possible Cause Remedy
The appliance does not start. The appliance is not switched on. Switch on the appliance.
The START/PAUSE button has not been pressed. Press the START/PAUSE button.
The door is not closed properly. Close the door firmly.
The water tap is not open. Open the water tap.
The appliance does not fill with water. The water tap is not open. Open the water tap.
The inlet hose is kinked or blocked. Straighten or clean the inlet hose.
The filter in the inlet hose connection is blocked. Clean the filter.
Water is leaking. The inlet hose is not properly connected. Check and tighten the hose connections.
The drain hose is not properly connected. Check and tighten the drain hose connection.
The door cannot be opened. The appliance is still running or the door lock is activated. Wait until the DOOR light goes off and the END light comes on.
Rinse Hold was selected. Select DRAIN or SPIN and press START/PAUSE.
The washing results are not satisfactory. Too little or too much detergent used. Adjust the amount of detergent.
Washing programme or temperature is incorrect. Select the appropriate programme and temperature.
Washing is too heavily soiled. Select a programme with pre-wash or stain treatment.
Excessive vibration or noise during spinning. The appliance is not level. Level the appliance.
The transport bolts have not been removed. Remove the transport bolts.
The programme does not run through. A programme option is incompatible with the selected programme. Select a compatible programme option.
The appliance does not drain. The drain hose is kinked or blocked. Straighten or clean the drain hose.
The drain pump is blocked. Clean the drain pump.
