Attaching the Wrist Strap: Thread the strap through the camera's strap ring, then loop it back on itself and pull tight.
Inserting the Battery: Open the battery compartment, insert the Li-ion battery correctly, and close the compartment.
Inserting an SD/SDHC Memory Card: Open the battery compartment, insert the card into the memory card slot with the metallic part facing forward, push until it clicks, and close the compartment.
Charging the Battery: Insert the battery into the charger, connect the power cord to the charger and then to the outlet. Charging takes 2 hours.
Turning Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power button for 0.3 seconds to turn on. Press the Power button to turn off.
Initial Settings: Upon first power-on, follow on-screen prompts to set language, date, and time.
Modes: Switch between Record mode (for photos/videos/audio) and Playback mode (for viewing/editing).
