Loading the Film

  1. Open the camera back by sliding the latch plate.
  2. Pull out the rewind knob and rotate it until the spool driving spindle disappears.
  3. Insert the film cassette and gently push the knob back, rotating slightly to engage the spool.
  4. Pull out about 2.5 inches of film and insert the end into the take-up spool slot, ensuring the perforation engages with the tooth.
  5. Turn the take-up spool until the film is taut.
  6. Close and lock the camera back.
  7. Set the exposure counter to zero by pressing and turning the milled ring counter-clockwise until the green triangle aligns with the index line.
  8. Make two blank exposures by operating the rapid film wind lever and pressing the shutter release button twice.

Taking a Picture

  1. Select the appropriate focal length frame in the viewfinder using the slide on top.
  2. Focus the camera by looking through the viewfinder and rotating the milled focusing ring until the overlapping images coincide.
  3. Set the shutter speed and aperture according to the lighting conditions and desired depth of field.
  4. Hold the camera steady and press the shutter release button.

Unloading the Film

  1. When the exposure counter indicates 1, rewind the exposed film into the cassette.
  2. Press the rewind release button on the base and pull out the rewind knob.
  3. Wind the film back by turning the knob until it detaches from the spool.
  4. Open the camera back and remove the cassette.
