  • Making a call: Dial number and press send key.
  • Receiving a call: Press send key to talk, end key to hang up.
  • Sending a message: Navigate to Messages, create text, send.
  • Adding a contact: Go to Contacts, select 'Add contact'.
  • Using the torch: Press and hold 5 JKL in idle screen to activate/deactivate.
  • Powering on/off: Press and hold the power key.

Troubleshooting and error codes

My phone cannot charge properly
  • Check that the battery is correctly inserted.
  • Make sure that the battery charger is connected to a live mains socket.
  • If the battery is completely flat, the charging may take some minutes to start.
  • Clean the battery contacts if they are dirty.
My phone does not turn on
  • Check that the battery is charged.
  • If your phone is out of power, the battery needs to be charged for a while.
My phone cannot connect to network "No network" displayed
  • Try to move to another location.
  • Check with your network operator that your subscription is valid.
  • Re-start your phone.
  • Update your phone's software.
I cannot make outgoing calls
  • Check that you dialed the number correctly and press the call key.
  • Check your subscription with your network operator.
  • Check that you are not in a restricted area.
  • Re-start your phone.
My phone cannot receive calls
  • Check that your phone is turned on.
  • Check that your phone is not in Flight Mode or Silence Mode.
  • Check that call forwarding is not activated.
  • Re-start your phone.
SMS cannot be sent or received
  • Check your SIM card is not full.
  • Check your phone number is correctly entered in the message centre number in the Message settings.
  • Check if the network is available.
  • Re-start your phone.
  • Remove and then reinstall your SIM card.
SIM card error
  • The SIM card is not detected.
  • Check that the SIM card is correctly inserted.
  • Try inserting the SIM card into another phone, then try inserting it back into your mobile phone.
  • Contact your network operator.
Unknown callers
  • When calling from a number not present in your directory or call history, the caller ID may be displayed as 'Unknown'.
Call filter
  • Access "Call filter" from the main menu.
  • Enable blacklist: all callers in the list will be automatically blocked.
  • Enable whitelist: only callers in the list can be connected.
  • Add contacts to either list from Contacts, call log, Messages or create directly.
