Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Troubleshooting Steps
My phone cannot switch on Check battery contacts, remove and reinstall battery. Check battery power level, charge for at least 20 minutes. If still not working, use User Data Format to reset.
My phone is frozen or has not responded Restart by pressing and holding the key. Remove and re-insert battery, then restart. If still not working, use User Data Format to reset.
My phone turns off by itself Check keypad lock. Ensure power off key is not accidentally touched. Check battery charge level. If still not working, use User Data Format to reset.
My phone cannot charge properly Ensure using an Alcatel battery and charger. Check battery insertion and clean contacts. Ensure battery is not completely discharged. Charge under normal conditions (0°C to +40°C). Check voltage input compatibility when abroad.
Cannot connect to network / No service Try connecting in another location. Verify network coverage. Check SIM card validity. Select network manually. Try later if network is overloaded.
