Warranty Information

Your phone is warranted for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase against defects in normal use.

Getting Started: Insert SIM and microSD cards, charge the battery, and power on the phone. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up language, Wi-Fi, and your Google account.

Using the Touchscreen: Navigate by touching, touching and holding, dragging, sliding/swiping, flicking, pinching/spreading, and rotating.

Home Screen: Access applications, shortcuts, folders, and widgets. Customize by adding, repositioning, or removing items. Create folders to organize items.

Text Input: Use the onscreen keyboard for typing. Switch between cases and modes. Edit text by touching and holding or double-tapping.

Phone Functions: Place calls by dialing directly or selecting from contacts. Answer or reject calls using on-screen gestures. Consult call history and set up speed dial.

Messaging & Email: Create and send SMS/MMS messages. Set up and manage email accounts.

Connectivity: Connect to the internet via GPRS/EDGE/3G or WLAN. Connect to a computer using a USB cable for data transfer.

Data Management: Back up data to Google Servers. Perform factory data resets. Manage internal storage and download applications from Google Play Store.

Safety & Use: Follow safety precautions regarding traffic, hearing, and battery handling. Protect your phone against theft.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Troubleshooting
Phone is frozen or cannot be switched on
• Check battery power level, charge for at least 20 minutes.
• Press and hold Power key for more than 7 seconds to try to restart.
• If it still does not work, reset the phone using the Power key and Volume up key.
Phone has not responded for several minutes
• Restart your phone by pressing and holding the Power key.
• If it still does not work, use Factory data reset or FOTA/Mobile Upgrade.
Phone turns off by itself
• Check screen lock and Power key.
• Check battery charge level.
• If it still does not work, use Factory data reset or FOTA/Mobile Upgrade.
Phone cannot charge properly
• Use the original ALCATEL one touch charger.
• Ensure battery is not completely discharged; allow up to 20 minutes for charging indicator.
• Charge under normal conditions (0°C to +45°C).
• Check voltage compatibility abroad.
Phone cannot connect to a network or "No service"
• Try connecting in another location.
• Verify network coverage with your operator.
• Check SIM card validity.
• Try selecting available network(s) manually.
• Try connecting later if the network is overloaded.
Phone cannot connect to the Internet
• Check IMEI number.
• Ensure internet access service is available.
• Check Internet connecting settings.
• Ensure you are in a place with network coverage.
• Try connecting later or at another location.
Invalid SIM card
• Ensure SIM card is correctly inserted.
• Check SIM card chip for damage.
• Ensure SIM card service is available.
Unable to make outgoing calls
• Dial a valid number.
• Check country/area codes for international calls.
• Ensure phone is connected to a network and not overloaded.
• Check subscription status with your operator.
• Ensure outgoing calls are not barred.
• Ensure phone is not in airplane mode.
Unable to receive incoming calls
• Ensure phone is on and connected to a network.
• Check subscription status with your operator.
• Ensure incoming calls are not forwarded.

Caller's name/number does not appear
• Check subscription to this service with your operator.
• Caller may have concealed their name/number.
Cannot find contacts
• Check SIM card.
• Ensure SIM card is inserted properly.
• Import SIM contacts to phone.
Sound quality of calls is poor
• Adjust volume during call using Volume Up/Down key.
• Check network strength.
• Ensure receiver, connector, or speaker is clean.
Unable to use features described in manual
• Check with operator if subscription includes service.
• Ensure feature does not require ALCATEL accessory.
Cannot dial number from contacts
• Ensure number is correctly recorded.
• Ensure country prefix is selected for foreign calls.
Unable to add contact
• Check if SIM card contacts are full; delete files or save to phone contacts.
Callers unable to leave voicemail
• Contact operator to check voicemail service availability.
Cannot access voicemail
• Ensure operator's voicemail number is correctly entered.

• Check phone memory availability.

• Check USB driver installation.
• Open Notification panel to check Android Manager Agent activation.
