Warranty Information

Your phone is warranted against defects for twelve months from the date of purchase.

  • Basic Navigation: Use the touchscreen for touch, touch and hold, and drag actions. Swipe to scroll.
  • Home Screen: Customize with apps, shortcuts, folders, and widgets. Access the application list from the Home screen.
  • Status Bar: View status icons (GPRS, Wi-Fi, battery) and notification icons (new messages, missed calls).
  • Quick Settings & Notifications: Swipe down from the status bar to access quick settings or the notification panel.
  • Calls: Make calls using the Phone app, dial numbers directly, or select from contacts. Answer or reject calls by sliding icons.
  • Messaging: Write and send text (SMS) and multimedia (MMS) messages.
  • Email: Set up and manage email accounts (Gmail, POP3, IMAP).
  • Internet: Connect to the internet via GPRS/EDGE/3G/4G or Wi-Fi. Browse the web using the Browser app.
  • Computer Connection: Transfer files using a USB cable.
  • Location: Find your location using GPS satellites via the Maps app.
  • Data Backup: Back up phone settings and data to Google Servers.
  • Settings: Access settings via the Menu key to customize your phone, manage connections, sound, display, and more.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Phone cannot be switched on or is frozen
  • Charge the battery for at least 20 minutes.
  • If the phone loops during power-on, press and hold Volume Down to enter Safe Mode.
  • Reset the phone using Power + Volume Up keys.
Phone has not responded for several minutes
  • Restart by pressing and holding the Power key.
  • Remove and re-insert the battery.
Phone turns off by itself
  • Check screen lock settings. Ensure Power key is not mis-contacted.
  • Check battery charge level.
Phone cannot charge properly
  • Use the original ALCATEL ONETOUCH charger.
  • Ensure battery is not fully discharged (may take 20 mins to show charging indicator).
  • Charge under normal conditions (0°C to +40°C).
  • Check voltage input compatibility abroad.
Cannot connect to network or "No service"
  • Try connecting in another location.
  • Verify network coverage with operator.
  • Check SIM card validity.
  • Select network manually.
  • Try connecting later if network is overloaded.
Cannot connect to the Internet
  • Check IMEI number (*#06#).
  • Ensure internet access service is available on SIM.
  • Check phone's internet connecting settings.
  • Ensure you are in a place with network coverage.
  • Try connecting at a later time or another location.
Invalid SIM card
  • Ensure correct SIM insertion.
  • Check for SIM card damage/scratches.
  • Verify SIM card service availability.
Unable to make outgoing calls
  • Dial a valid number.
  • Check country/area codes for international calls.
  • Ensure phone is connected to a network and not overloaded.
  • Check subscription status and outgoing call barring.
  • Ensure phone is not in flight mode.
Unable to receive incoming calls
  • Ensure phone is switched on and connected to a network.
  • Check subscription status.
  • Ensure incoming calls are not forwarded or barred.
  • Ensure phone is not in flight mode.
Caller name/number does not appear
  • Check service subscription with operator.
  • Caller may have concealed their number.
Cannot find my contacts
  • Ensure SIM card is not broken or inserted improperly.
  • Import contacts from SIM to phone.
Poor call quality
  • Adjust volume using Volume Up/Down key.
  • Check network strength.
  • Ensure receiver, connector, or speaker is clean.
Unable to use described features
  • Check operator subscription for service inclusion.
  • Ensure no special ALCATEL ONETOUCH accessory is required.
Number cannot be dialed from contacts
  • Verify number recording in contact file.
  • Check country prefix for foreign calls.
Unable to add a contact
  • Check if SIM contacts are full; delete files or save to phone contacts.
Callers unable to leave voicemail
  • Contact operator for service availability.
Cannot access voicemail
  • Ensure operator's voicemail number is correctly entered.

Unable to send/receive MMS
  • Check phone memory availability.

  • Check USB driver installation.
  • Ensure Smart Suite Agent is active.

Unable to download new files
  • Ensure sufficient phone memory.
  • Select microSD card for downloads.

Phone cannot be detected by Bluetooth
  • Ensure Bluetooth is on and phone is visible.

Making battery last longer
  • Follow complete charge time (min 3 hours).

Phone becomes warm This is normal during prolonged calls, gaming, or heavy internet use. Actions should return phone to normal temperatures.
