Warranty Information

Your phone is warranted against defects for twelve months from the date of purchase.

  • Power Key: Press to lock/light screen. Press and hold for power options (Ringer, Airplane, Power off, Quick start, Restart). Press and hold to power on. Press and hold Power key and Volume down to capture screenshot. Press to mute ringtone or end call. Press for >7 seconds to restart if dead.
  • Volume Keys: Adjust earpiece/headset volume during calls, media volume in music/video, or ringtone volume in general mode. Mute incoming calls. In Camera mode, use to capture photos or start/stop video. Press to light up screen when dim during a call.
  • Home Key: Touch to return to the Home screen from any application or screen.
  • Back Key: Touch to go back to the previous screen or close dialog boxes, notification panels, etc.
  • Recent Apps Key: Opens a list of recently used apps. Swipe left/right to remove. Touch and hold for Menu, Wallpaper, Manage applications, and Settings.
  • Touchscreen Gestures: Tap to select, touch and hold for options, drag to move items, slide/swipe to scroll, flick for quicker movement, pinch/spread to zoom, cover with palm to lock.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Solution
My phone is frozen or cannot be switched on Check battery level and charge for 20 mins. Reset using Power key and Volume up key.
My phone has not responded for several minutes Restart by pressing and holding the Power key.
My phone turns off by itself Check screen lock, ensure Power key isn't mis-contacted. Check battery charge.
My phone cannot charge properly Ensure battery is not completely discharged (may take 20 mins to show indicator). Charge under normal conditions (0°C to +40°C). Check voltage input abroad.
My phone cannot connect to a network or "No service" is displayed Try another location. Verify network coverage with operator. Check SIM validity. Select network manually. Try later if network is overloaded.
My phone cannot connect to the Internet Check IMEI matches warranty card/box. Ensure SIM has internet access. Check internet settings. Ensure network coverage. Try connecting later/at another location.
Invalid SIM card Ensure SIM is inserted correctly, chip is undamaged, and service is available.
Unable to make outgoing calls Dial valid number. Check country/area codes for international calls. Ensure connected to network. Check subscription status. Ensure outgoing calls are not barred. Not in airplane mode.
Unable to receive incoming calls Ensure phone is on and connected to a network. Check subscription status. Ensure incoming calls are not forwarded or barred. Not in airplane mode.
Caller's name/number does not appear Check subscription to service. Caller may have concealed number.
I cannot find my contacts Ensure SIM is not broken and inserted properly. Import SIM contacts to phone.
Poor call quality Adjust volume with Up/Down keys. Check network strength. Ensure receiver, connector, and speaker are clean.
Unable to use features described Check with operator if service is included. Ensure no specific ALCATEL ONE TOUCH accessory is required.
Cannot dial number from contacts Ensure number is recorded correctly. Select correct country prefix for foreign calls.
Unable to add contact Check if SIM contacts are full; delete or save to phone.
Callers cannot leave voicemail Contact network operator for service availability.
Cannot access voicemail Ensure operator's voicemail number is entered correctly. Try later if network is busy.
Unable to send/receive MMS Check phone memory. Contact operator for service availability and MMS parameters. Verify server centre number/MMS profile. Server may be busy.
SIM card PIN locked Contact operator for PUK code.
Cannot connect to computer Install ALCATEL ONE TOUCH Android Manager. Check USB driver. Activate Android Manager Agent. Mark USB debugging. Ensure computer meets requirements. Use correct cable.
Unable to download new files Ensure sufficient phone memory. Select microSD card for downloads. Check subscription status.
Phone not detected via Bluetooth Ensure Bluetooth is on and visible. Ensure phones are within detection range.
Phone becomes warm Normal for prolonged calls, gaming, internet surfing, or complex applications. Ends these actions to return to normal temperatures.
