Getting Started:

  • Powering On/Off: Press and hold the Power key.
  • Charging: Connect the charger to your phone and a mains socket.
  • SIM Card: Insert the SIM card with the chip facing upwards.
  • microSD Card: Insert the microSD card with the golden contact facing upwards.
  • Touchscreen: Tap icons to open apps, touch and hold for options, drag to move items, and slide to scroll.
  • Status Bar: View phone status and notification information.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Phone cannot be switched on or is frozen - Charge the battery for at least 20 minutes.
- Press and hold the Power key and Volume up key to reset.
Phone has not responded for several minutes - Restart your phone by pressing and holding the Power key for more than 9s.
Phone turns off by itself - Check if the screen is locked when not in use.
- Check the battery charge level.
Phone cannot charge properly - Use an ALCATEL ONETOUCH charger.
- Ensure charging is within normal conditions (0°C to +40°C).
Phone cannot connect to a network or “No service” is displayed - Try connecting in another location.
- Verify network coverage with your operator.
- Check if your SIM card is valid.
- Try selecting available networks manually.
Invalid SIM card - Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted.
- Check if the SIM card chip is not damaged.
- Ensure your SIM card service is available.
Unable to make outgoing calls - Dial a valid number.
- Check country and area codes for international calls.
- Ensure the phone is connected to a network.
- Check your subscription status with your operator.
Unable to receive incoming calls - Ensure the phone is switched on and connected to a network.
- Check your subscription status with your operator.
- Ensure incoming calls are not forwarded or barred.
Caller's name/number does not appear - Check with your operator for service subscription.
- Caller may have concealed their name or number.
Cannot find contacts - Ensure SIM card is not broken and properly inserted.
- Import contacts from SIM card to phone.
Sound quality of calls is poor - Adjust volume.
- Check network strength.
- Ensure receiver, connector, and speaker are clean.
Unable to use features described in manual - Check with operator for service availability.
- Ensure no specific ALCATEL ONETOUCH accessory is required.
Number cannot be dialed from contacts - Ensure the number is correctly recorded.
- Select the correct country prefix when calling internationally.
Unable to add contact - Check if SIM card contacts are full; save to phone contacts if necessary.
Callers unable to leave voicemail - Contact operator for voicemail service availability.
Cannot access voicemail - Ensure voicemail number is correctly entered.
