Getting Started

Charging the Battery: Connect the charger to your phone and a power outlet. The LED indicator will show charging status. Charge fully for optimal operation (approx. 3 hours).

Powering On/Off: Press and hold the Power key to turn the phone on or off. You will be prompted to unlock if necessary.

Home Screen: Access your favorite apps, shortcuts, folders, and widgets. Slide horizontally to view more screens.

Using the Touchscreen:

  • Touch: To open an app or select an item.
  • Touch and Hold: To access available options.
  • Drag: To move items or scroll.
  • Flick: To move quicker, similar to swiping.
  • Pinch/Spread: To zoom in or out on content.
  • Rotate: Automatically changes screen orientation.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Phone cannot be switched on or is frozen Low battery Charge for at least 20 minutes.
Software issue Press and hold Power key and Volume up key to reset.
Phone has not responded Unresponsive interface Restart by pressing and holding the Power key for more than 9s.
Phone turns off by itself Screen locked without use Check screen lock status.
Low battery Check the battery charge level.
Phone cannot charge properly Incorrect charger Use the ALCATEL ONETOUCH charger provided.
Discharged battery Charging may take up to 20 minutes to show on screen.
Temperature issues Charge between 0°C and +40°C. Check voltage abroad.
No network or "No service" No network coverage Try another location, check coverage with operator.
Invalid SIM card Verify SIM card validity with operator.
Network overload Try connecting later.
Cannot connect to the Internet No internet service Check SIM card's internet access, check settings with operator.
Invalid SIM card Improper insertion Ensure SIM is correctly inserted.
Damaged SIM card Check SIM card for damage.
Service unavailable Check service availability with operator.
Unable to make outgoing calls Incorrect number Ensure number and country code are correct.
