Warranty Information

The phone is warranted against defects for twelve months from the purchase date.

  • Powering On/Off: Hold the power key to turn the phone on or off.

Phone won't switch on Press the power key until the screen comes on. Check battery charge and contacts.
Screen difficult to read Clean the screen. Use in recommended conditions.
Phone turns off by itself Check keypad lock status and battery charge.
Phone won't charge properly Ensure battery is not fully discharged, check charging conditions, and battery insertion. Use approved charger.
Cannot connect to a network Try another location, check network coverage, SIM validity, and select network manually.
SIM card error Ensure correct insertion, 3V or 1.8V compatibility, and check for damage.
Touch screen does not respond Ensure phone is not locked. Launch touch screen calibration.
Unable to make outgoing calls Dial valid number, check country codes, network connection, subscription status, and call barring.
Unable to receive incoming calls Ensure phone is on and connected, check subscription status, and call forwarding/barring.
Caller's name not shown Check service subscription and if the caller has concealed their number.
Sound quality not optimal Adjust volume, check network strength, and ensure no Alcatel accessory is required.
Number not dialled from Contacts Verify number recording, country prefix, and SIM card directory space.
Cannot add contact Check SIM directory space or save to phone memory.
Callers unable to leave voicemail Contact network operator for service availability.
Cannot access voicemail Verify voicemail number entry. Try later if network is busy.
Unable to send/receive MMS Check phone memory, operator settings, and server center number.
Red icon on standby Too many short messages on SIM; delete or archive them.
