Warranty Information

Your phone is warranted against defects for twelve months from the date of purchase.

  • Home Screen: Access applications, shortcuts, folders, and widgets. Slide horizontally to view more screens.
  • Touchscreen Gestures: Tap to select, touch and hold for options, drag to move, swipe to scroll, flick for quicker movement, pinch/spread to zoom, and rotate for landscape view.
  • Status Bar: Displays notifications and phone status.
  • Key Functions: Home key (switch to Home screen/view options), Back key (return to previous screen), Menu key (access options), Power key (lock/unlock screen/power on/off), Volume keys (adjust volume).
  • Getting Started: Includes removing/installing back cover, SIM card, and battery. Charging the battery is recommended for optimal performance.
  • Powering On/Off: Press and hold the Power key.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Checks/Solutions
My phone is frozen or cannot switch on Check battery contacts, remove/reinstall battery, charge for 20 mins. If unresolved, use User Data Format.
My phone has not responded for several minutes Restart by holding Power key, remove/re-insert battery.
My phone turns off by itself Check keypad lock, ensure Power key is not mis-contacted. Check battery charge level.
My phone cannot charge properly Use ALCATEL ONE TOUCH charger and battery. Ensure battery is inserted properly and contacts are clean.
Battery not completely discharged If empty for a long time, may take 20 mins to show charging indicator. Charge under normal conditions (0-40°C). Check voltage input when abroad.
Cannot connect to network or "No service" Try another location, verify network coverage, check SIM validity, manually select network, or try later if network is overloaded.
Cannot connect to the Internet Check IMEI, SIM card internet service availability, phone's internet settings, network coverage, or try connecting later/at another location.
Invalid SIM card Ensure correct insertion, check for SIM damage, and verify SIM service availability.
Unable to make outgoing calls Dial valid number, check international codes, ensure network connection, check subscription status, ensure outgoing calls are not barred, and not in flight mode.
Unable to receive incoming calls Ensure phone is on and connected, check subscription, ensure no call forwarding or barring, and not in flight mode.
Caller's name/number not displayed Check service subscription with operator, or caller may have concealed their information.
Cannot find contacts Check SIM card integrity and insertion, import SIM contacts to phone.
Poor call quality Adjust volume, check network strength, ensure receiver/speaker is clean.
Unable to use features Verify service subscription includes the feature, and ensure no specific ALCATEL ONE TOUCH accessory is required.
Number cannot be dialed from contacts Ensure number is recorded correctly, check country prefix for international calls.
Unable to add contacts Check if SIM contacts are full; save to phone memory.
Callers cannot leave voice mail Contact network operator to check service availability.
Cannot access voice mail Ensure operator's voice mail number is correct, try later if network is busy.
Unable to send/receive MMS Check phone memory, check service availability and MMS parameters with operator, verify server center number or MMS profile.
SIM card PIN locked Contact network operator for PUK code.
Cannot connect phone to computer Install Android Manager, check USB driver, ensure Android Manager Agent is activated, check USB debugging setting, ensure computer meets requirements, use correct USB cable.
Unable to download new files Ensure sufficient phone memory, select microSD as storage location, check subscription status.
Phone not detected via Bluetooth Ensure Bluetooth is on and visible, ensure phones are within detection range.
