Warranty Information

The phone is warranted against defects for twelve months from the date of purchase.

Powering On/Off: Press and hold the Power key to turn the phone on or off. A quick press locks/unlocks the screen.
Restarting: Press and hold the Power key for at least 10 seconds to force a reboot.
Factory Reset: Press and hold the Power key and Volume Up key until the startup screen appears, then select "reboot system now".
SIM Card: Insert a micro-SIM card. The phone supports hot-swapping.
Charging: Connect the charger to the phone and power source. The LED indicator will light up.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Solution
My phone has not responded for several minutes Restart your phone by pressing and holding the Power key for more than 10s.
My phone turns off by itself Check screen lock, ensure Power key is not mis-contacted, and check battery charge level.
My phone cannot charge properly Use the included ALCATEL ONETOUCH charger. Ensure battery is not completely discharged. Check charging conditions (0°C to +40°C) and voltage input abroad.
My phone cannot connect to a network or “No service” is displayed Try another location, verify network coverage, check SIM validity with operator, try selecting networks manually, or try later if the network is overloaded.
My phone cannot connect to the Internet Check IMEI, ensure internet access service is available, check phone's Internet settings, ensure network coverage, or try later/another location.
Invalid SIM card Ensure correct SIM insertion, check for damage, and verify SIM service availability.
Unable to make outgoing calls Ensure phone is connected to a network, check subscription status, ensure outgoing calls are not barred, and check if flight mode is off.
Unable to receive incoming calls Ensure phone is on and connected to a network, check subscription status, ensure incoming calls are not forwarded, ensure calls are not barred, and check if flight mode is off.
The caller's name/number does not appear when a call is received Check subscription to the service with your operator or if the caller has concealed their information.
I cannot find my contacts Check SIM card integrity and insertion, and import SIM contacts to the phone.
The sound quality of the calls is poor Adjust volume during call, check network strength, and ensure receiver/connector/speaker is clean.
I am unable to use the features described in the manual Check service subscription with operator and if the feature requires an ALCATEL ONETOUCH accessory.
When I select a number from my contacts, the number cannot be dialled Ensure the number is correctly recorded and the country prefix is selected for international calls.
My callers are unable to leave messages on my voicemail Contact your network operator to check service availability.
I cannot access my voicemail Ensure operator's voicemail number is correctly entered and try later if the network is busy.
I am unable to send and receive MMS Check phone memory, contact operator for service availability and MMS parameters, verify server centre number, or try again if the server is busy.

I am unable to connect my phone to my computer Install Smart Suite, check USB driver installation, ensure Smart Suite Agent is activated, verify computer meets Smart Suite requirements, and use the included cable.
I am unable to download new files Ensure sufficient phone memory, select microSD card for downloads, and check subscription status.
The phone cannot be detected by others via Bluetooth Ensure Bluetooth is on and the phone is visible to others. Ensure phones are within Bluetooth detection range.
