Warranty Information

The device is warranted against defects for twelve months from the date of purchase.

Powering On/Off: Press and hold the Power key until the screen lights up to power on. To power off, press and hold the Power key from the Home screen until the phone options appear, then select "Power off".

Home Screen Navigation: Touch the Home key to return to the Home screen. Slide horizontally to view more screens. Touch icons to open applications, and touch and hold to move or change them.

Text Input: Use the onscreen keyboard for typing. You can switch between text, numbers, and symbols. Adjust orientation by turning the phone sideways.

Making Calls: Touch the Call application, enter a number or select from Contacts/Recents. Touch the green button to call. Touch the red button to hang up.

Connecting to Internet: Use Wi-Fi by going to Settings > Wi-Fi and turning it on. Connect to available networks. GPRS/EDGE/3G/4G is automatically configured with a SIM card.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Troubleshooting Steps
Phone cannot be switched on or is frozen Charge for at least 20 minutes. Try switching on again. If frozen, press and hold Volume Down key to enter Safe Mode. If still not working, reset the phone using Power key and Volume Up key.
Phone has not responded Restart by pressing and holding the Power key for more than 10s.
Phone turns off by itself Check if the screen is locked and the Power key is not obstructed. Check battery charge level.
Phone cannot charge properly Use the ALCATEL ONETOUCH charger. Ensure battery is not completely discharged (may take 20 mins to show charging indicator). Charge under normal conditions (0°C to +40°C). Check voltage input when abroad.
Cannot connect to network or "No service" Try connecting in another location. Verify network coverage with operator. Check if SIM card is valid. Try selecting available network manually. Try later if network is overloaded.
Cannot connect to the Internet Check IMEI. Ensure internet access service is available on SIM. Check phone's Internet settings. Ensure network coverage. Try later or another location.
Invalid SIM card Ensure SIM card is correctly inserted, chip is not damaged, and service is available.
Unable to make outgoing calls Dial valid number. Check country/area codes for international calls. Ensure connection to network and no overload. Check subscription status and ensure calls are not barred. Ensure not in flight mode.
Unable to receive incoming calls Ensure phone is on and connected to network. Check subscription status. Ensure calls are not forwarded or barred. Ensure not in flight mode.
Caller's name/number not shown Check subscription with operator. Caller may have concealed name/number.
Cannot find contacts Ensure SIM card is not broken and properly inserted. Import contacts from SIM card to phone.
Poor call quality Adjust volume during call. Check network strength. Ensure receiver, connector, and speaker are clean.
Unable to use manual features Check subscription with operator. Ensure feature doesn't require specific accessory.
Number cannot be dialed from contacts Ensure number is correctly recorded. Select correct country prefix for foreign calls.
Unable to add contact Check if SIM card contacts are full; delete or save to phone contacts.
Callers unable to leave voicemail Contact operator for service availability. Verify server center or MMS profile. Server may be busy.
Cannot access voicemail Ensure correct voicemail number is entered. Try later if network is busy.
SIM card PIN locked Contact network operator for PUK code.
Unable to connect phone to computer Install Smart Suite. Check USB driver installation. Ensure Smart Suite Agent is activated. Check computer requirements. Use included cable.
