Warranty Information

The phone is warranted against defects for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Power key: Press to lock/unlock screen. Press and hold to access Power off/Restart/Airplane mode options.
  • Volume keys: Adjust media or ringer volume. Press Volume up or down in camera preview to enter burst shoot.
  • Home key: Return to the Home screen. Touch and hold to access Google Search.
  • Back key: Go back to the previous screen.
  • Menu key: View recently used applications.
  • Touchscreen gestures: Touch, Touch and Hold, Drag, Slide/Swipe, Flick, Pinch/Spread, Rotate are used for navigation and interaction.
  • Home screen: Customize with apps, shortcuts, folders, and widgets.
  • Notification panel: Swipe down from the status bar to view notifications.
  • Quick setting panel: Swipe down from the notification panel to access quick settings.
  • Connecting to the Internet: Use GPRS/EDGE/3G/4G or Wi-Fi.
  • Data backup: Back up settings and data to Google Servers.
  • Factory data reset: Erase all personal data.
  • Smart Suite: Back up contacts, messages, calendar, photos, and applications.
  • Software Upgrade: Update phone software via Mobile Upgrade tool or FOTA Upgrade.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Solution
My phone cannot be switched on or is frozen Charge the battery for at least 20 minutes. Try switching on again. If frozen, press and hold the Volume down key to enter Safe Mode. If ineffective, reset the phone using the Power key and Volume up key.
My phone has not responded for several minutes Restart your phone by pressing and holding the Power key for more than 10s.
My phone turns off by itself Check screen lock status and Power key contact. Check battery charge level.
My phone cannot charge properly Use the included charger. Ensure battery is not fully discharged. Charge under normal conditions (0°C to 40°C). Check voltage input when abroad.
My phone cannot connect to a network or "No service" is displayed Try a different location. Verify network coverage with your operator. Check SIM card validity. Manually select networks. Try later if the network is overloaded.
My phone cannot connect to the Internet Check IMEI. Ensure internet access service is available. Check phone's internet connecting settings. Ensure network coverage. Try later or in another location.
Invalid SIM card Ensure SIM card is correctly inserted, chip is not damaged, and service is available.
Unable to make outgoing calls Dial a valid number. Check country and area codes for international calls. Ensure phone is connected to a network and service is not overloaded or unavailable. Check subscription status. Ensure outgoing calls are not barred and phone is not in flight mode.
Unable to receive incoming calls Ensure phone is switched on and connected to a network. Check subscription status. Ensure incoming calls are not forwarded or barred. Ensure phone is not in flight mode.
The caller's name/number does not appear when a call is received Check subscription to the service with your operator. The caller may have concealed their information.
I cannot find my contacts Ensure SIM card is not broken and is inserted properly. Import contacts from SIM card to phone.
The sound quality of the calls is poor Adjust volume using Volume Up/Down keys. Check network strength. Ensure receiver, connector, or speaker are clean.
I am unable to use the features described in the manual Check with your operator if the service is included in your subscription. Ensure the feature does not require a specific ALCATEL ONETOUCH accessory.
When I select a number from my contacts, the number cannot be dialed Ensure the number is correctly recorded in your file. Select the country prefix for international calls.
I am unable to add a contact in my contacts Check if SIM card contacts are full; delete files or save to phone contacts.
My callers are unable to leave messages on my voicemail Contact your network operator to check service availability.

I am unable to connect my phone to my computer Install Smart Suite. Ensure USB driver is installed. Check Smart Suite Agent activation in Notification panel. Ensure computer meets Smart Suite requirements. Use the included cable.
I am unable to download new files Ensure sufficient phone memory. Check subscription status with your operator.
The phone cannot be detected by others via Bluetooth Ensure Bluetooth is turned on and the phone is visible to others. Ensure phones are within Bluetooth detection range.
