Warranty Information

Your phone is warranted against defects for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase.

  • Powering On/Off: Press and hold the Power key.
  • Screen Lock/Unlock: Press the Power key to lock/unlock the screen.
  • Navigation: Use the Back, Home, and Menu keys for navigation. Touchscreen gestures include touch, touch and hold, drag, slide/swipe, flick, and pinch/spread.
  • Home Screen: Customizable with apps, shortcuts, folders, and widgets.
  • Notifications & Settings: Swipe down from the status bar to access the notification panel and quick settings.
  • Calls: Place calls using the Phone app, answer/reject calls by sliding on the screen.
  • Text Input: Use the onscreen keyboard for typing.
  • Internet: Connect via Wi-Fi or mobile data (GPRS/EDGE/3G).
  • Data Transfer: Connect to a computer via USB cable for file transfer.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Solutions
Phone cannot be switched on or is frozen Charge battery for 20 minutes. Press and hold Volume Down for Safe Mode. Reset using Power + Volume Up, or via FOTA/Mobile Upgrade tool.
Phone has not responded Restart phone by holding Power key. Remove and re-insert battery. Reset phone via Factory data reset or FOTA/Mobile Upgrade.
Phone turns off by itself Check screen lock and ensure Power key is not accidentally pressed. Check battery level. Reset phone via Factory data reset or FOTA/Mobile Upgrade.
Phone cannot charge properly Use ALCATEL ONETOUCH battery and charger. Ensure battery is properly inserted and contacts are clean. Charge under normal conditions (0°C to +40°C).
Cannot connect to network or "No service" Try a different location. Verify network coverage with operator. Check SIM validity. Manually select network. Try later if network is overloaded.
Cannot connect to Internet Check IMEI. Ensure SIM internet access is available. Check phone's internet settings. Ensure network coverage. Try later or in another location.
Invalid SIM card Ensure SIM is correctly inserted and undamaged. Check SIM service availability.
Unable to make outgoing calls Dial valid number. Check country/area codes. Ensure connection to network and it's not overloaded. Check subscription status. Ensure calls are not barred. Ensure not in airplane mode.
Unable to receive incoming calls Ensure phone is on and connected to a network. Check subscription status. Ensure calls are not forwarded or barred. Ensure not in airplane mode.
Caller's name/number not appearing Check service subscription with operator. Caller may have concealed their information.
Cannot find contacts Ensure SIM card is not broken and properly inserted. Import SIM contacts to phone.
Poor sound quality Adjust volume during call. Check network strength. Ensure receiver/speaker is clean.
Features not working Check operator subscription. Ensure no special accessory is required.
Number from contacts cannot be dialled Ensure number is correctly recorded. Select correct country prefix if calling internationally.
Cannot add contacts Check if SIM contacts are full; delete or save to phone contacts.
Callers unable to leave voicemail Contact operator to check service availability.
Cannot access voicemail Ensure voicemail number is correctly entered. Try later if network is busy.
Unable to send/receive MMS Check phone memory availability. Contact operator for service and MMS parameters. Verify server centre number. Server may be busy.
SIM card PIN locked Contact operator for PUK code.
