To Cook Rice:
- Measure rice and rinse.
- Add rice and water to the inner pot.
- Ensure pot is dry and placed correctly in the cooker.
- Close lid.
- Plug in and press Warm/Cancel button.
- Press White Rice or Brown Rice button.
To Steam Food:
- Add water to inner pot.
- Place food on steam tray.
- Put steam tray in pot and close lid.
- Press Steam button and set time.
To Sauté:
- Press Saute button.
- Add oil/butter to inner pot and preheat.
- Add food and stir until cooked.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Problem | Possible Cause and Solution |

| Rice is too dry/Hard after cooking | Add 1/2 to 1 cup of water, stir, and repeat COOK RICE steps. |
| Rice is too moist/ soggy after cooking | Stir rice, redistribute moisture, and keep on "Keep-Warm" for 10-30 minutes with lid slightly open, stirring periodically. |
| The bottom layer of rice is browned/ caramelized. | Rinse rice before cooking to remove excess starch. Stirring rice once it switches to "Keep-Warm" will also help. |
