Warranty Information

Guaranteed free of defects in material or workmanship during its lifetime.

Loading Film:

  1. Open the camera back by pulling the lock and then opening from the top. Release the rewind crank. Pull the crank up until the knob lifts out. Place the film magazine in the camera with the long end of the spool down. Push the knob down and turn if necessary until it snaps into place. Push the crank back in.
  2. Pull the rewind lever down and turn the film take-up drum until the metal hook is on top. Push the rewind lever back up. Place the film leader over the drum so a perforation engages the hook. Move the film wind lever through a full stroke, then press the shutter release.
  3. Ensure the film lies flat and is securely fastened. Set the counter dial to the number of exposures on the roll (e.g., "set 20" or "set 36"). Close the camera back.
  4. Move the film wind lever through another full stroke, press the shutter release, wind the film once more, and press the shutter release again. The counter should now read the number of exposures set.

Setting Exposure:

  • Shutter Speed: Turn the shutter speed dial until the desired number is opposite the index mark. Use faster speeds for action (1/125 or 1/300 sec.) and slower speeds for low light (1/30 sec. or lower). The "B" setting is for exposures longer than 1 second.
  • Lens Opening: Turn the front of the lens to set the desired f-stop. Smaller numbers mean larger openings. Use the Color-matic settings, the Outdoor Exposure Guide, or the flash information for guidance.
  • Focusing: Use the rangefinder to align the images in the viewfinder by turning the rangefinder dial. This will automatically focus the lens.
