Warranty Information

The Argus Camera is guaranteed against defective material and workmanship for 90 days after shipment.

To load the camera, remove the back cover by pressing the catch until the lip clears the slot and pulling out the tab. Insert the film cartridge in the right-hand compartment with the knurled end of the spool up. Lock the cartridge in place by pushing in the rewind knob. Pull the strip of film out of the cartridge and thread it through the winding shaft, projecting about 1/4" through the shaft. Hold the film snugly along the film track and turn the shaft one revolution to secure the film. Take up any slack by turning the rewind knob and engage the sprocket in the film perforations. Replace the back cover, ensuring the rubber pressure pad presses down on the cartridge lip. To take pictures, aim the camera through the viewfinder and press the trigger. Hold the camera steady, resting it against your face, and apply gradual pressure to the trigger. After taking a picture, advance the film by pressing the release button and turning the winding knob clockwise until resistance is met and the counter dial has revolved one revolution minus one space. Rewind the film by turning the rewind knob on the bottom of the camera clockwise.
