How to Hold Your Camera

  • Horizontal Position: Hold the camera firmly with your left hand, arm close to your body.
  • Vertical Position A: Hold camera tightly to forehead with left hand, right arm close to body.
  • Vertical Position B: Hold camera tightly to forehead with left hand, raise right arm, draw left arm to body.
  • Hold the lens barrel with your left hand's thumb and fingers when focusing horizontally.
  • Use the right hand to release the shutter to avoid camera movement.

Before Taking Pictures

  1. Set preview lever to 'A' (automatic) for full-aperture viewing.
  2. Cock rapid wind lever fully.
  3. Select desired f-stop.
  4. Set shutter speed.
  5. Compose through viewfinder.
  6. Focus using the distance scale ring.
  7. Trip shutter.
  8. For depth of field, switch preview lever to 'M' (manual).

Film Loading

  1. Open camera back by pulling lock.
  2. Pull out rewind knob, insert cassette, push knob back.
  3. Draw film leader and insert into take-up spool slit.
  4. Turn wind lever to engage sprockets with film perforations.
  5. Close back and fasten lock.

Troubleshooting and error codes
