Safety precautions

Use in environments with ambient temperatures between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F).

Refer to the rating label for power adapter compliance.

The Notebook PC can get warm; do not block vents or place on surfaces that block them.

Do not use damaged power cords or accessories.

Ensure adequate air circulation; do not carry or cover the powered-on PC with materials that reduce airflow.

Avoid uneven or unstable work surfaces.

Can pass through x-ray machines but avoid magnetic detectors.

Caring for your Notebook PC

Disconnect AC power and remove the battery before cleaning. Use a damp cellulose sponge or chamois cloth, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid liquids entering the chassis or keyboard.

Do not use strong solvents.

Do not place objects on the Notebook PC.

Avoid strong magnetic or electrical fields.

Do not expose to liquids, rain, or moisture.

Do not expose to dusty environments.

Do not use near gas leaks.

Keep active electronic devices away to avoid interference.

Do not use for cryptocurrency mining.

Proper disposal

Do not dispose of the Notebook PC or battery in municipal waste. Follow local regulations for electronic product disposal.

Battery safety information

Frequent charging under high voltage may shorten battery life. Charging may stop between 90%-100%.

Charging/storing in high temperatures can cause permanent damage and shorten battery life.

Battery capacity can drop even when powered off.

Standard battery care

For long periods of non-use, charge to 50%, power off, and disconnect AC. Recharge to 50% every three months.

Avoid prolonged high voltage charging; discharge to 50% every two weeks if using AC power constantly. Use MyASUS Battery Health Charging settings.

Store battery at 5%-35°C (41°F-95°F) with 50% charge. Use MyASUS Battery Health Charging settings.

Do not leave battery in damp environments. Low temperatures can damage battery chemicals; high temperatures may cause explosion.

Do not place near heat sources exceeding 60°C (140°F).
