Safety precautions

Use in environments with ambient temperatures between 5°C (41°F) and 35°C (95°F).

Caring for your Notebook PC

Disconnect AC power and remove the battery before cleaning. Use a damp cellulose sponge or chamois cloth, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid liquids entering the chassis or keyboard.

Avoid strong magnetic or electrical fields.

Do not expose to liquids, rain, or moisture.

Battery safety information

Frequent charging under high voltage may shorten battery life. Charging may stop between 90%-100%.

Charging/storing in high temperatures can cause permanent damage and shorten battery life.

Battery capacity can drop even when powered off.

Standard battery care

For long periods of non-use, charge to 50%, power off, and disconnect AC. Recharge to 50% every three months.

Avoid prolonged high voltage charging; discharge to 50% every two weeks if using AC power constantly. Use MyASUS Battery Health Charging settings.

Store battery at 5%-35°C (41°F-95°F) with 50% charge. Use MyASUS Battery Health Charging settings.

Do not leave battery in damp environments. Low temperatures can damage battery chemicals; high temperatures may cause explosion.

Do not place near heat sources exceeding 60°C (140°F).
