Operating Instructions

General Safety Information: This washing machine is intended for domestic use only. Always follow safety regulations, unplug the machine before cleaning, and keep detergents out of reach of children. Be cautious of hot doors and detergent solution. Ensure proper installation and do not install in frost-prone areas.

Environmental Protection/Economy Tips: Separate packaging waste. Always fill the appliance to maximum capacity. Wash normally soiled laundry without a prewash. Use lower temperature programs for energy saving. Measure detergent accurately based on water hardness.

Your New Washing Machine: Features low energy consumption. Ensure water inlet and outlet hoses are correctly attached and the tap is open.

Before Washing for the First Time: Run a cycle without laundry to remove testing water. Ensure transport locks are removed.

Preparing and Sorting Laundry: Check care labels. Wash whites separately from colors. Sort by type, color, soiling, and temperature. Turn pockets out, close zippers, and pretreat stains. Wash delicate items or small items in a laundry bag. Turn trousers, knitwear, and jersey fabrics inside out.

Loading the Laundry: Ensure no foreign objects are in the drum. Rinse items pretreated with solvents. Load laundry loosely, mixing large and small items. Do not exceed maximum load capacity. Close the door securely.

Detergents and Care Products: Use the correct compartment for detergent (prewash, main wash) and liquid additives (fabric softener). Use liquid detergent insert as needed. Select correct dosage based on laundry amount, soiling, detergent instructions, and water hardness.

Programmes: Select the appropriate programme for fabric type and desired wash intensity (e.g., Cottons, Easy-care, Delicates, Wool). Special programmes include Rinse + Spin, Spin, and Empty.

Washing Options: Options include Rinse Stop (flot) to keep laundry in the last rinse water, and reduced spin speed (centrif.) for fewer creases.

Washing: Select programme, load laundry, add detergent, and press Start/Pause. The machine automatically ends the programme. Turn off the tap and leave the door open to dry.

End of Programme: Set selector to Off, remove laundry, leave door open, turn off tap.

Programme Change: If an incorrect programme is selected, press Start/Pause to restart.

Adding Laundry: Press and hold Start/Pause until 'lavado' flashes to check if adding laundry is possible.

Programme Termination: For high temperatures, select Rinse + Spin for cooling. For low temperatures, select Rinse + Spin or Empty. Press Start/Pause.

Reset Function: Press and hold Start/Pause until all three programme lights illuminate to return to original settings.

Cleaning and Care: Disconnect from mains before cleaning. Clean housing and control panel with a damp cloth. Clean the washing drum and detergent drawer regularly. Descale if necessary following manufacturer instructions.

Detergent Solution Pump: Clean the pump if there are blockages. Drain water first.

Filter in the Water Inlet: Clean the filter if water flow is insufficient. This involves disconnecting the water supply and cleaning the filter.

What to do if...: Troubleshoot common issues like door not closing, water not flowing in or draining, intense vibrations, foam, and unsatisfactory washing results. Refer to indicator lights and fault codes for guidance.

After-sales Service: Contact after-sales service for repairs. Provide product (E-nr.) and production (FD) numbers.

Installation Instructions: Follow safety precautions for lifting and installation. Ensure the machine is stable and level. Connect water inlet and outlet hoses correctly. Ensure proper electrical connection to an earthed socket.
