Operating Your Dryer

Before use, ensure the dryer is properly installed and connected to a power source.

Preparing Laundry:

  • Check garment labels for drying suitability.
  • Separate items by fabric type and thickness.
  • Dry items with metal accessories inside out and fasten zippers/buttons.

Starting a Program:

  1. Plug in the dryer and open the loading door.
  2. Place laundry inside, ensuring it's not jammed.
  3. Close the loading door securely.
  4. Select the desired program using the On/Off/Program selection knob.
  5. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the drying cycle.

During Operation:

  • Avoid opening the door unless necessary. If you must, press Start/Pause first and close the door promptly.
  • You can change the program after starting by cancelling and re-selecting.

End of Program:

  • Warning indicators for filter cleaning and water tank will illuminate.
  • Remove laundry promptly to prevent wrinkling. A wrinkle prevention function activates for 2 hours.
  • Turn the dryer off by returning the knob to the Off position.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Troubleshooting Steps
Drying operation takes too long. Fibre filter pores might be clogged. Wash the filter with warm water. Filter drawer might be clogged. Clean the sponge and filter cloth. The condenser might be blocked. Wash the condenser. Ventilation grills might be closed. Remove objects blocking air. Ventilation may be inadequate. Open door/windows. Lime layer on humidity sensor. Clean the humidity sensor. Excessive laundry loaded. Do not overload. Laundry not wrung adequately. Use higher spin speed on washing machine.
Clothes come out damp after drying. Program not suitable for laundry type. Check labels and select correct program. Fibre filter pores might be clogged. Wash the filter. Condenser might be blocked. Drying machine does not turn on or program cannot be started. Power plug might be unplugged. Ensure it's plugged in. Loading door might be open. Ensure it's properly closed. Program not set or Start/Stand-by button not pressed. Check program and ensure it's not in Stand-by. Child lock activated. Turn off child lock.
Program terminated prematurely for no reason. Loading door not closed completely. Ensure it's properly closed. Power outage. Press Start/Stand-by to restart. Water tank may be full. Empty the water tank.
Clothes have shrunk, hardened or spoiled. Program not suitable for laundry type. Check labels and select correct program.
The lighting inside the drying machine does not turn on. Drying machine might not be turned on or program not selected. Ensure machine is on. Lamp might be malfunctioning. Contact Authorized Service.
Filter cleaning warning symbol/LED is on/flashing. Fibre filter might not be cleaned. Clean the filter. Filter slot might be clogged. Clean the filter slot. Layer of fluff accumulated on filter pores. Wash the filter. Condenser might be blocked. Wash the condenser.
Water drips from the loading door. Fibres gathered on inner sides of loading door and gasket. Clean inner surfaces and gasket.
Loading door opens by itself. Loading door might not be closed completely. Push until closing sound is heard.
Water tank warning symbol / led is on/flashing. Water tank may be full. Empty the water tank. Water discharge hose might have collapsed. Check hose if connected directly to drain.
Steam symbol is flashing. Steam tank may be empty. Fill with distilled or condensed water.
Steam programs do not start. Steam tank may be empty. Fill steam tank until icon goes off.
Wrinkles are not removed with wrinkle removing program. Excess laundry placed. Place specified amount. Steam application time selected low. Choose program with high steam. Laundry left in machine too long after program. Remove laundry promptly.
Laundry odour not lessened with the odour removal program. Excess laundry placed. Place specified amount. Steam application time selected low. Choose program with high steam.
