Your Beko product is guaranteed against breakdown repair for twelve months from the date of original purchase.

Before Operating:
  • Ensure the appliance is level and the interior is dry.
  • Plug into the wall socket. The green light will glow, and the compressor will start in about five minutes.
  • For storing frozen food, ensure the fast-freeze mode is off and the temperature is -18°C or below.
  • For freezing fresh food, set the thermostat to maximum, wait at least three hours before adding food.
  • Front edges may feel warm; this is normal.
  • Set thermostat to MIN initially and monitor temperature.
  • If power fails, do not open the door; frozen food should be safe for up to 18 hours.
  • The freezer door may be difficult to open immediately after closing due to pressure difference.
  • The door open alarm will activate if the door is left ajar.
Using Your Refrigerator:
  • Set the temperature using the control knob (1=Warmest, MAX=Coldest).
  • Normal storage temperature should be -18°C (0°F).
  • Check temperature with a thermometer periodically.
  • Indicator lights show operating mode: Amber (fast freeze), Green (mains connected), Red (high temperature alarm).
  • For freezing large amounts of fresh food, set control knob to MAX 24 hours prior.
  • Make ice cubes by filling the ice tray and placing it in the freezer.
  • The appliance defrosts automatically.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
If the appliance does not operate when switched on, check: The plug is inserted properly in the socket and that the power supply is on. (To check the power supply to the socket, plug in another appliance)
The fuse has blown/circuit breaker has tripped/main distribution switch has been turned off.
The temperature control has been set correctly.
New plug is wired correctly if you have changed the fitted moulded plug.
