Using your refrigerator

Indicator Panel: Learn about the different indicators and their functions.

Quick Freeze Function: Use to freeze large amounts of food quickly. Indicator lights up when active and automatically cancels after 4 hours or when the freezer reaches the required temperature.

Quick Fridge Function: Cools the fridge compartment faster than adjusted values. Useful for rapidly cooling food.

Eco-Fuzzy Function: Activates the most economic operating mode. Press Quick Freeze button for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate.

Energy Saving Mode: Activated after 10 minutes of inactivity and no door openings. Icons turn off except for the energy saving icon.

Key Lock Mode: Press Quick Fridge and FF Set buttons concurrently for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate. Locks all buttons.

Dual Cooling System: Two separate systems cool fresh food and freezer compartments independently, preventing odor mixing and improving cooling speed.

Freezing Fresh Food: Wrap food, cool to room temperature before freezing, ensure food is fresh and of good quality, divide into portions, and package airtight.

Placing Food: Guidelines for placing different food types in freezer shelves, fridge shelves, door shelves, crisper, and fresh zone compartments.

Deep-freeze information: Food should be frozen rapidly for best quality. TSE norm requires freezing 4.5 kg of foodstuff at 32°C ambient temperature to -18°C or lower within 24 hours per 100 liters of freezer volume.

Water Dispenser (*optional): Provides cold water without opening the door. Use only clean, pure drinking water. Do not overfill.

Odor filter: Prevents unpleasant odors.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Refrigerator not functioning Is the refrigerator correctly plugged in? Is the fuse for the socket blown? Insert the plug. Check the fuse.
Condensation on the side wall of the refrigerator compartment (MULTI ZONE, COOL CONTROL and FLEXI ZONE) Very cold environment, frequent door opening, very humid environment, liquid food stored in open containers, door left ajar. Select a higher temperature. Reduce door opening frequency/duration. Cover open containers. Wipe condensation with a dry cloth.
Compressor not functioning Thermal protection activated due to power failure or recent plug-in (pressure needs to equalize). Defrosting mode. Not plugged in. Incorrect temperature setting. Power outage. Refrigerator will start in ~6 minutes. If not, call service. Defrosting mode is normal. Ensure plug is inserted correctly. Check temperature setting. Contact electricity supplier.
Refrigerator running for long periods / Refrigerator not running New refrigerator may be larger than old one. Normal phenomenon.
High ambient temperature. Normal phenomenon.
Recently plugged in or filled with food. Full cooling may take two hours or more.
Large quantities of warm food recently added. Warm food causes longer running time until target temperature is reached.
Doors opened frequently or left ajar. Warm air enters, causing longer running time. Open doors less frequently.
Freezer or fridge compartment door left ajar. Check if doors are closed correctly.
Very low temperature selected. Select a higher temperature and wait.
Door seal dirty, worn, torn, or incorrectly positioned. Clean or replace the seal. Damaged seals cause longer running times.
Freezer temperature too low, fridge temperature adequate: Select a higher freezer temperature.
Fridge temperature too low, freezer temperature adequate: Select a higher fridge temperature.
Food in fridge drawers is freezing: Select a higher fridge temperature.
Fridge or freezer temperature too high:
  • Very high fridge temperature setting (affects freezer). Adjust fridge or freezer temperature.
  • Door ajar. Close completely.
  • Large quantities of warm food recently added. Wait for adequate temperature.
  • Refrigerator recently plugged in. Full cooling takes longer.
Unusual ticking sound: This is the solenoid valve, which is normal and not a malfunction.
