Operating Instructions

The Bestway Flowclear Sand Filter is designed for use with storable pools only. Ensure the filter is placed on a solid, level surface at least 2 meters away from the pool edge. Connect the filter to the pool's inlet and outlet using the provided hoses and ensuring all connections are secure. Before first use, perform backwash and rinse cycles to clean the sand bed. To operate, set the control valve to 'Filter' and plug in the pump. Monitor the pressure gauge; when it reaches 0.021MPa (3PSI) or higher, or water flow is reduced, it's time to clean the sand by performing backwash and rinse cycles again. Regular maintenance, including cleaning the strainer and winterizing the unit, is crucial for performance and longevity.
