W Appliance Co. warrants the product free from defects for 1 year labor/parts, 2 years compressor.
Starting Your Refrigerator: Clean thoroughly. Plug in the power cord and set the thermostat to '7' for 15-20 minutes. If the door gasket has a gap, gently pull it out to seal.
Temperature Control: Settings range from '0' (off) to '7'. '4' is recommended for home/office use. Allow several hours for temperature stabilization after adjustments. Avoid placing food on air outlets.
Food Storage: Wrap fresh food airtight. Store eggs upright. Wash and dry fruit/vegetables before storing. Cool hot foods before refrigerating. Seafood should be used the same day. Meats have specific storage times.
Freezer Compartment: For safe storage, consume foods within 5 days. To release ice cube trays, use warm water around the tray. Do not use sharp objects to remove frost.
Cleaning: Unplug before cleaning. Clean interior and exterior with mild detergent and water. Defrost when frost accumulates to 1/4" thickness.
Vacation/Moving: Empty and unplug. Clean and leave doors open. Transport vertically.
