Basic Operation

Starting: Insert safety key, then pull bale handle to start. Release bale handle to stop mower.

Mulching: Ensure mulch insert is installed for proper mulching. Avoid cutting wet grass and never remove more than 1/3 of grass blade length at once.

Bagging: Remove mulch insert and attach grass catcher.

Charging: Plug charger into a wall outlet and the mower. Red light indicates charging, green light indicates fully charged. Leave on constant charge for optimal performance.

Adjustments: Handle height and wheel height can be adjusted.

Troubleshooting and error codes

PROBLEM	SOLUTION
Mower doesn't run when bale handle is activated.	A. Check safety key installation and ensure switch button is depressed. B. Release bail handle, remove safety key, turn mower over, and check blade freedom. C. Ensure battery is fully charged; wait for green light.
Motor stops while mowing.	A. Release bail handle, remove safety key, turn mower over, and check blade freedom. B. Raise cutting height to highest position. C. Ensure battery is fully charged; wait for green light. D. Circuit breaker may have tripped; it resets automatically. Slow down or raise cut height.
Mower runs but cutting performance is unsatisfactory, or does not cut entire lawn.	A. Ensure battery is fully charged; wait for green light. B. Release bail handle, remove safety key, turn mower over, and check blade sharpness and deck/chute for clogging. C. Wheel height adjustment may be too low; raise cutting height.
Mower is too hard to push.	A. Raise cutting height to reduce deck drag. Check each wheel for free rotation.
Mower is abnormally noisy and vibrates.	A. Release bail handle, remove safety key, turn mower on side, and check blade for damage. Replace if damaged. If deck is damaged, return to authorized service center. B. If no visible damage and mower still vibrates: Release bail handle, remove safety key, remove blade, rotate blade 180 degrees, and retighten. If still vibrating, return to authorized service center.
