Warranty Information

This product has a 1-year labor and parts warranty, and a 5-year compressor warranty.

  • Ensure the air conditioner is plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
  • Test the LCDI plug by pressing RESET then TEST, then RESET again.
  • Connect the exhaust hose to the unit and window kit for cooling, dehumidifying, and heating modes. Disconnect for FAN mode.
  • Control the unit using the control panel or the remote control.
  • For Wi-Fi control, download the BLACK+DECKER Home app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the appliance.
  • Regular cleaning of the cabinet and filter is recommended for efficient operation.
  • Refer to the troubleshooting section for common issues.
  • Drain the unit when prompted by error codes E2 or E4, or at the end of the season.

Troubleshooting and error codes
